This idyllic beach in Santorini is famous for its black sand, the result of the volcanic activity that created the island. Calm conditions and crystal-clear waters teeming with fish make for excellent snorkeling and swimming. Enjoy a relaxing day of bathing in the Mediterranean sun and stay until the evening to catch the spectacular sunset over the Aegean sea, framed by the Mesa Vouno mountain. The beach is easily accessible from Fira, the capital of the Greek island.

Enjoy an off-grid vacation at the island’s longest uninterrupted beach. The crystal clear waters make it a great spot for swimming, and as the amenities trail off in the south, there are quiet sections of beach for you to relax in solitude. It's also a popular spot for nudists. It gets busy during summer so visit during the shoulder seasons between May to June, or September to October. If you want a little more beach fun, the neighboring Maragas Beach brims with beach clubs, hotels, restaurants, and water sports facilities. You can try to spot Plaka Beach on a sailing tour of Naxos

The beach has a lunar landscape that makes it vastly different from every other shore in Greece, featuring awe-inspiring, smooth white rocks with plenty of horizontal layering.
Its formation is highly unique, boasting numerous caves that anyone can explore with the help of a flashlight! The beach was mostly formed as such due to fossil layering and some volcanic eruptions, while it is said to have been named after the Saracen pirates that used the caves as a shelter.
Other pirate populations, such as the Cilicians, the Ottomans, and the Barbary pirates, have also used the coast as a hiding place.

The island of Paros is home to some of the most gorgeous beaches of the Aegean with Paros Kolymbithres beach being a must see. Its unique formation with the abstract-sculpted rocks formed by their exposure to the sun, wind and sea over the centuries has turned the beach into a sight to behold. The transparent, shallow, and calm waters along with the fine golden sand make it an ideal choice for families wishing to enjoy a day at the beach. The surprising number of small natural pools on the other hand give visitors the choice to find their peace and quiet, swim in their very own private paradise and sunbathe amidst spectacular surroundings.

Piso Aliki beach in Paros: Piso Aliki is situated in the southern part of Paros, next to the village of Aliki. The beach boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and a combination of sand and rocks. The waters are fairly shallow, so it is recommended for families with children. It is also ideal for those that want to relax away from the busy island life in a tranquil environment.

This is not an organized beach, so visitors will not find amenities such as umbrellas and sunbeds to rent. However, there are a few trees on the beach that provide shade, as well as public showers. In addition, a tavern is located near the beach, perfect for a meal with an amazing view of the sea or a refreshing drink
